Scott Kirk provides guidance on a variety of regulatory affairs matters, focusing on radioactive waste management.

Scott has served as the Vice President of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs for Waste Control Specialist, was employed by Nuclear Fuels Services (a BWXT Company), and served as the principal liaison with the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). He was responsible for obtaining licensing approval for processing Highly Enriched Uranium for the U.S. Naval Reactors Program and a major nuclear nonproliferation program (Blended Low-Enriched Uranium, BLEU Project) for the Department of Energy.

Scott received the 2017 Richard S. Hodes M.D. Honor Lecture Award. He earned his Master of Science degree in Environmental Health and Bachelor of Science degree in Geology/Physics.
