Citizens for Nuclear Technology Awareness Presents:

James Little
President, Washington Safety Management Solutions
Washington Division of URS Corporation

"The Nuclear Renaissance"

Tuesday, March 25, 2008
Aiken Municipal Conference Center
The Alley, Aiken SC
7:30 a.m.

Mr. Little, who has more than 30 years of experience in the nuclear and environmental fields, is the President of Washington Safety Management Solutions. He joined WSMS in 2003 after serving as president of West Valley Nuclear Services Company, the prime contractor at the West Valley Demonstration Project for the Department of Energy.

In the 1970s, there were more than 300 nuclear plants in various stages of planning, licensing, engineering, and construction. But most of those plants were never built, while a strong, safe, efficient, and consolidated nuclear industry emerged, nonetheless.

Today there is a growing consensus that nuclear power is the economic and environmental choice. Stable regulatory processes, industry alliances, and above all the training and availability of technical talent will be critical to the sucess of efforts to bring about this renaissance.
